6 Saudi companies in the field of cement announced that they have joined the “Industrial Sector Competitiveness Program”, launched by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to encourage sustainable transformation in the sector, enhance the sustainability of industry inputs, and enable the industrial sector to obtain the necessary capabilities to improve production costs.
Six Saudi companies in the field of cement announced that they have joined the program. Riyadh Cement, Saudi Cement, Yanbu, Qassim, Umm Al-Qura and Southern Cement joined the program, stressing its importance in providing immediate, developmental and enabling solutions that focus on switching to optimal energy sources, increasing energy efficiency and raising awareness to adopt the best practices and possible measures to enhance the long-term competitiveness of enterprises.
Riyadh Cement, Saudi Cement, Yanbu, Qassim, Umm Al-Qura and Southern Cement all joined the program. Cement Companies stressed that the program includes providing a number of immediate and developmental solutions aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of existing industrial facilities in the Kingdom, as the program contributes to enabling the industrial sector to obtain the necessary capabilities to improve production costs.
