Union of Saudi Chambers announced the issuance of the first ATA CARNET, since the official start of the application of this system, as of the beginning of last June, as the Kingdom became the 80th country in the world to apply this international customs system.

The Swiss company “Richemont” received the first temporary entry book from the Secretary General of the Federation, Waleed Al-Arinan, as the only national guarantor of the application of the temporary entry of goods in accordance with the terms of the Convention. Business owners, companies and interested parties can apply for the temporary entry of goods through the services on the Federation's website and visit its headquarters in Riyadh to receive the booklet.

<The ATA Carnet system is an international customs document that facilitates the temporary import of goods for up to one year, without the need to pay any duties or taxes or undergo any customs procedures. The application of this international system also strengthens the Kingdom's position as an attractive global destination for investments and a center for trade and business, contributes to the revitalization of the exhibitions and events sector, and raises its readiness to host international events.

It is noteworthy that the Temporary Entry of Goods System requires the goods to be re-imported or exported within the specified period, and the system covers a wide range of goods.
