General Real Estate Authority has announced the start of real estate registration for (87,318 parcels) in (26) neighborhoods in the city of Dammam and (14) neighborhoods in Al-Khobar Governorate, starting November 3, 2024, corresponding to 1 Jumada Al-Awwal 1446 AH, and continuing until the end of February 6, 2025, corresponding to 7 Sha’ban 1446 AH.

The Authority clarified that the neighborhoods benefiting from the Real Estate Registry at this stage include the following neighborhoods in the city of Dammam: (the remaining parts of Al-Shoala, Al-Sina’iya Al-Oula, Al-Waha, Taybah, Al-Nuzha, Al-Firdous, Al-Rawda, Al-Faisaliyah, Tihama, Al-Muntazah, Al-Jama’een, Al-Iskan, Al-Rayyan, Al-Nahda, Abdullah Fouad, Madinat Al-Omal, Al-Manar, Ibn Khaldoun, Al-Amal, Al-Ittisalat, Al-Basateen, Hajar, Al-Anwar, Al-Nada, Al-Muraikabat, and Qasr Al-Khaleej), while registration includes the following neighborhoods in Al-Khobar Governorate: (Half Moon Beach, Al-Kawthar, Al-Aqiq, Al-Safin, Al-Marjan, Al-Raja, Al-Shifa, Al-Sawari, Al-Loulou, Al-Maha, Al-Amwaj, Al-Sharaa, Al-Durra, Al-Bahira), noting that the selection of neighborhoods was based on specific criteria, and that the remaining regions, governorates, and neighborhoods subject to physical property registration across the Kingdom will be announced in due course in the coming periods.

The Real Estate Authority noted that the initial registration of properties in these regions and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa/ or through service centers, clarifying that physical registration requires a title deed that meets the regulatory requirements to complete the registration process.

The Authority called on property owners in the regions and neighborhoods subject to physical registration to verify their property title deeds and ensure they meet the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, and inquiries about the registration steps can be made through the Authority’s official platforms or by calling the Customer Service Center at 199002.

Starting from the designated date for the commencement of registration, a “Property Number” and a title deed for each registered property unit. The title deed will include the property’s details, descriptions, condition, and associated rights and obligations linked to precise geospatial information, thereby contributing to the enhancement of infrastructure and the sustainability of the real estate sector, as the real estate registration system aims to increase real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
