The Saudi Contractors Authority and the Saudi Green Building Forum signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday as part of the Saudi Green Building Forum, in the presence of and under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail. The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation between the Authority and the Forum by offering training and development programs, as well as granting accreditation certificates through educational channels available to both parties.
It also seeks to establish a framework for the exchange of knowledge and best practices through workshops, seminars, and training sessions, as well as the sharing of research and publications related to topics of mutual interest.
The MoU includes cooperation on relevant exhibitions, conferences, and seminars, as well as contributing to marketing campaigns to promote the services and achievements of both parties. and the Forum will be invited to participate in events organized by the Authority, with invitations provided for relevant international conferences.
The signing of the MoU reflects the Authority’s commitment to strengthening cooperation to achieve sustainable development in the construction sector and to raising awareness of environmental sustainability, which will contribute to enhancing capabilities and competencies in the Kingdom’s construction sector.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Contractors Authority aims to regulate and develop the construction industry, build distinctive productive capabilities, encourage innovation, and strengthen communication among stakeholders in the sector, It also works to create a safe environment that serves project owners, industry leaders, contractors, and other stakeholders.
