The control tours included the implementation of 2861 control tours on commercial and food establishments, as part of the municipality's plan to improve the quality of services provided, monitor compliance with hygiene standards, properly store foodstuffs, ensure the safety of equipment and tools used, check the health certificates of workers, and ensure that the necessary licenses are present, resulting in the confiscation of 1240 kg of foodstuffs unfit for consumption, closing 13 shops for violating municipal requirements, and writing 970 tickets for a number of shops, while the number of approved requests for shop licenses reached 82 requests.

It also carried out 1650 construction control tours within the residential neighborhoods of the governorate and its villages, during which it issued 150 construction violations related to construction work, while the number of approved construction license applications reached 83 applications, and the number of occupancy certificates reached 27 certificates.
During the same period, the Municipality also removed 15078 cubic meters of construction and demolition waste in the governorate, removed 48 concrete barriers, fenced 300 meters of buildings under construction, and repaired 480 light poles.
