Sakan Agreement Objectives
The agreement aims to provide suitable housing for 16,000 needy families, as part of the Waad product, which is one of the innovative solutions and products that contribute to increasing the rate of ownership for needy families.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing for Developmental Housing Talal Al-Khanini explained that the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing is working to strengthen partnerships with various sectors, based on its belief that integration and cooperation are the most important factors to achieve a qualitative leap in the housing sector.
“We continue our journey in economic and developmental housing, which, since its launch in 2017, has succeeded in owning more than 37,000 housing units so far,“ he said.
A qualitative step in the march of Sukkan
For his part, the secretary-general of the“housing”Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Kridis said that the signing of this agreement represents a qualitative step in the Foundation's march to promote non-profit housing solutions, stressing the importance of the role of strategic partnerships that the Foundation is keen to build with the relevant authorities in achieving a sustainable impact for the beneficiary families.
He praised His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Their Highnesses the members of the Board for their continuous guidance and follow-up to serve the neediest families and contribute to achieving the aspirations of the wise leadership, as part of the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and the Foundation has contributed to finding housing solutions for more than 35 thousand families in various regions of the Kingdom.
