These are located within communities designed to ensure beneficiaries are not separated from the social fabric and to facilitate their integration with all segments of society. His Highness prayed to the Almighty to make these homes blessed homes and to grant continued success to all. His Highness also honored the donors and contributors who raised more than 41 million riyals as part of the ”Joud Tabuk” campaign, which was launched last Ramadan.

During the launch ceremony for development and investment projects in the region, held today at the Emirate, the Governor of Tabuk and the attendees watched a visual presentation on the projects currently being implemented in the city of Tabuk, as well as investment projects, which included development, operation, and maintenance projects currently underway with a total value exceeding 474 million riyals, in flood control and road projects, as well as 17 projects currently under tender worth 387 million riyals, and investment projects under construction worth 800 million riyals, with a return on investment reaching 1.297 billion riyals.

His Highness then inaugurated a number of development and investment projects in the region, which are part of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s efforts to meet the aspirations of the wise leadership in developing Saudi cities and transforming them into smart and sustainable cities, and to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 through highly efficient plans and programs that place the Kingdom’s cities at the forefront of the global stage.

Following that, His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, delivered a speech in which he began by thanking His Highness the Governor of Tabuk Region for his continuous follow-up and for launching these projects, which will benefit the region and its people, emphasizing that through these new projects, the Ministry is working to develop the urban landscape and improve the quality of life in the cities and provinces of the Tabuk region by upgrading infrastructure, improving road efficiency, creating parks and pedestrian walkways, and developing public squares and neighborhood centers, as well as establishing stormwater drainage networks and mitigating flood risks. The region benefits from a diverse range of projects covering various sectors, including tourism, recreation, and health.

His Highness the Governor of the Tabuk Region praised the efforts of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the significant strides it has made in providing affordable housing, which is considered one of the top priorities, as success in work or family cohesion cannot be achieved without adequate housing, whereas the housing problem was previously one of the challenges, but it has now become as if it never existed; rather, it has—praise be to God—disappeared completely. Today, the discussion revolves around the quality of housing, its location, and how well it meets individuals’ needs, which is of the utmost importance.
