The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing , represented by the Agency for Human Capacity Development in the Municipal and Housing Sectors, a new training-to-employment program for citizens in the profession of “Collective Housing Supervisor,“ in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund. The program targets citizens wishing to work as collective housing supervisors, aiming to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge in accordance with the regulations and requirements related to collective housing for individuals.
Upon completing the program, trainees will be responsible for ensuring all facilities related to individual housing are available, overseeing maintenance work on the housing units, and assigning residents to housing units, monitoring compliance with regulations and guidelines governing group housing for individuals, maintaining a database of residents, ensuring basic services and safety and security measures in the housing facilities, overseeing the provision of medical services, and preparing and submitting work reports.
The training program is subsidized at a rate of up to 50%, with a maximum of 3,000 thousand riyals of the salary, and is offered by educational centers affiliated with several universities, namely (King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Umm al-Qura University). It is worth noting that the Ministry’s Human Capacity Development Agency, in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund, recently launched support for six professional certifications to enhance the skills and competence of specialists in engineering fields using the latest tools and technologies, which will have a positive impact on this vital sector.
