His Excellency the Minister of Investment Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, that 1,238 international investors have been granted Special Residency for the “Business Investor Residency” program, during the 28th edition of the World Investment Conference held in Riyadh from November 25 to 27, 2024, which serves as a global dialogue platform bringing together elite leaders and major investors from around the world.
Exclusive Residency and Attracting Foreign Investment
Al-Falih emphasized that special residency is one of the key drivers for attracting foreign investment, as it streamlines procedures for investors and enhances their ability to capitalize on investment opportunities available in the Kingdom, thereby strengthening its position as an attractive global investment destination.
He explained that this step contributes to empowering the investment sector by attracting investors across various economic sectors in the Kingdom and enabling them to take advantage of the opportunities and competitive advantages offered by the Special Residency, emphasizing that this step is a practical measure to attract and retain investments to contribute to the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030; to empower the national economy through job creation, knowledge transfer to national talent, and the exchange of expertise.
7 Distinctive Residency Products
It is worth noting that the Special Residency Center offers seven residency products: Exceptional Competence Residency, Talent Residency, Business Investor Residency, Entrepreneur Residency, Property Owner Residency, Fixed-Term Distinctive Residency, and Indefinite-Term Distinctive Residency.
These programs provide holders with a range of benefits, most notably: residency in the Kingdom with family members, the ability to conduct business, own real estate, and host relatives, in addition to numerous benefits offered in collaboration with government agencies.
