Minister of Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud —may God protect him—on the occasion of the 85th National Day, which reflects the unity of the people and leadership in determination and resolve, as our beloved country continues its march of achievements.
Al-Hogail said, “The Kingdom’s National Day comes as it is determined to continue its march of achievements and resolute in confronting anyone who attempts to harm the homeland or any of its components, amidst security, safety, development, and prosperity.”
He added, “On this joyous occasion, our country reaffirms that it has been, remains, and will continue to be, by the grace of God Almighty, a cornerstone of Arab, Islamic, and global economic and humanitarian development, ever since it embarked on its journey under the leadership of King Abdulaziz —may God have mercy on him—who took upon himself the mission of unifying this land. With keen insight, patience, strength, and determination, he established a state founded on the Quran and Sunnah, led by men whose approach was to spread peace and security and build the land, so that our country has become a beacon among nations.”
He noted that the Kingdom continues its comprehensive, integrated, and balanced development renaissance across all sectors under the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz—may God support him—amidst the global economic slowdown and falling oil prices, and it holds its place among the Group of Twenty (G20) nations with the world’s largest economies, working tirelessly to fulfill the aspirations of its citizens, including in the field of housing, which His Majesty—may God protect him—always emphasizes the need to care for and grant it importance and priority among all services, as he said, may God protect him “With regard to housing, we are determined, by the will and power of God, to develop urgent practical solutions that ensure the provision of adequate housing for citizens.”
The Minister of Housing affirmed the Ministry’s ongoing efforts, under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his trusted Crown Prince, and the Deputy Crown Prince, to lay the groundwork for organizing and coordinating a balanced and sustainable housing environment, so that citizens may, with God’s help, see tangible results in addressing the housing sector and enabling citizens to obtain suitable housing through diverse options in all regions by creating and developing programs to stimulate the private and public sectors through cooperation and partnership, yielding positive outcomes for citizens in terms of housing and the economy in general, asking God Almighty to grant success to the Saudi development process under its wise leadership, which is compassionate toward citizens and always strives for the best for our country and its noble people.
