The controls set by the Authority include a set of requirements to ensure the quality and efficiency of rental properties, including:
<Safety of the property: It must be free of structural defects and hold the required licenses from the competent authorities in the host country.
Suitability: The specifications and size of the property are commensurate with the need of the government entity, according to the standards approved by the Authority.
Insurance and compliance with laws: The property must be insured - if available - and must not be in dispute or contrary to the regulations of the host country.
The Authority also emphasized the prohibition of renting real estate owned by persons with whom it is prohibited to deal, or an employee of the Authority or the relevant government agency up to the third degree.

Application Procedures
<To ensure an efficient and transparent process, the Authority requires the submission of a property lease application along with all required funds and approvals. The application must contain:
<Property type and location.
The purpose of the lease.
The required duration and technical and security specifications.
<The Authority will study the requests in coordination with other government agencies to avoid competition and achieve efficiency, and will issue its decision within a period not exceeding 15 working days, with the possibility of extending the period once. In case of rejection, the reasons shall be clearly attached.
Contract terms and duration
<The Authority has specified that the duration of the contracts shall not exceed 5 years, with the possibility of automatic renewal for similar periods, not exceeding 20 years in total. Non-renewal must be notified 60 days prior to the end of the contract, subject to the laws of the host country. Contracts are paid in equal annual installments or in accordance with the terms of the contract.
