Today, Sunday, the Minister of Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadli, will preside over the opening ceremony of the Agricultural Exhibition at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, In addition, the National Agricultural Committee of the Council of Saudi Chambers, in cooperation with the Agriculture and Food Security Committee of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will hold an expanded meeting of the Kingdom’s agricultural committees with His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture.

The minister will present an overview of the ministry’s future directions, and the relevant undersecretaries of the Ministry will present the Ministry’s current directions in the areas of fisheries, agricultural development, livestock, plant resources, agricultural natural resources, food security, and foreign agricultural investment, in addition to a presentation by the Director General of the Agricultural Development Fund on the Fund’s future directions. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Societies will also discuss the Board’s plan for new projects designed to support small farmers and producers.
