Emir of Qassim inaugurates “Ataa Housing” project to build 28 housing units in Unaiza

An initiative by the Ma'wa Association for Developmental Housing to support the most vulnerable families and strengthen partnerships within the framework of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, launched the “Ithkan Ata” project, which is one of the projects of the Ma’wa Association for Developmental Housing, which aims to build 28 housing units in Unaizah Governorate to support the most needy families, as part of efforts to promote sustainable housing solutions and strengthen partnerships with government agencies and the nonprofit sector to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

His Highness the Governor of Al-Qassim Region emphasized that Developmental Housing projects play a pivotal role in improving the quality of life for the most needy families, praising the efforts of the Ma’awa Association in implementing high-quality and sustainable housing projects that contribute to achieving housing stability for beneficiaries.

He said: "What we are witnessing today is a living example of the spirit of community solidarity and charitable work, contributing to the provision of decent housing for the most needy families, These projects are a true model of community solidarity and charitable work, reflecting the efforts of various entities and supporters to achieve a sustainable social impact, and we look forward to the continuation of such initiatives that support housing development in the region.

During the ceremony, Engineer Asim Mushabbab Al-Qahtani, a board member of the Ma’wa Association, delivered a speech in which he reviewed the association’s achievements in the field of developmental housing, and its success in delivering 21 housing units and enabling the most needy families in the Al-Qassim region to obtain housing units during the past year, 2024, as part of its efforts to improve the quality of life for the most needy families, noting that the association seeks to expand the scope of its housing projects through strategic partnerships that ensure the sustainability of charitable housing projects.

He explained that this project is an extension of the significant support provided by the wise leadership to programs for developmental housing and nonprofit sector initiatives, to provide high-quality housing solutions tailored to the most vulnerable groups and to strengthen community partnerships in this field.

Following this, His Highness the Governor of Al-Qassim Region honored the supporting entities and contributors to the success of developmental housing projects, in recognition of their role in strengthening social solidarity and contributing to achieving housing stability for beneficiary families.
