The the General Real Estate Authority that the deadline set for the initial on-site registration of real estate for 158 neighborhoods, including 37 in Riyadh, 119 in the Eastern Province—of which 79 are in Dammam and 32 in Al-Khobar— 8 neighborhoods in Al-Qatif Governorate, and parts of neighborhoods in Madinah, by the end of Thursday, February 27, 2025.
The Authority stated that the on-site registration of real estate will end in the following neighborhoods in Riyadh: (part of Al-Khair, Al-Suwaidi, Sultanah, Al-Durayhimi, Al-Ma’athar, Al-Sharafiyah, Umm Al-Hamam Al-Sharqi, Umm Al-Hamam Al-Gharbi, Al-Badi’ah, Al-Arijah, Al-Amal, Thulaym, Al-Fawta, Sukayrinah, Manfouha, Ma’kal, Umm Salim, Al-Oud, Al-Yamamah, Al-Wusita, Salam, Al-Washam, Jabra, Al-Batiha, Atiqa, Al-Salhiya, Al-Duweiba, Al-Qura, Al-Shumaisi, Ghubaira, Sayyah, Al-Jaradiyah, Al-Murqab, Al-Dahou, New Manfouha, Al-Dira, and Al-Rafiah).
The Authority clarified that registration will end in the following neighborhoods in the city of Dammam: (Badr, Ahad, Al-Jalawiya, Al-Khudariya, Al-Anoud, Al-Atheer, Al-Nour, Al-Dhabab, Al-Fayha, Al-Sina’iya, Granada, Al-Muhammadiya, King Fahd Suburb, Al-Qadisiya, Al-Rabia, Al-Amana, Al-Shorouq, Al-Dana, Al-Fursan, Al-Bahira, Al-Aziziyah, Al-Jawhara, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Al-Qusur, National Guard, Al-Jami’ah, South Al-Dana, Al-Qashla, North Doha, West Dhahran, South Doha, North Al-Dana, Al-Wisam, Dhahran Industrial District, North Housing, South Al-Oruba, Al-Hazm, South Housing, North Al-Oruba, Al-Joud, part of Al-Sha’la District, Airport, Al-Hadba, Second Industrial District, Support Services, Al-Qazzaz, Al-Dawasir, East Beach, Al-Nakhil, Al-Adama, Al-Badi", Al-Khaleej, Al-Hamra, Prince Muhammad bin Saud, Al-Amamra, Al-Tabishi, Al-Mazrou’iyah, Al-Badia, Al-Zuhur, Al-Rabee", Al-Salam, Al-Souq, Al-Nasiriyah, West Beach, Al-Hassam, Al-Sadfa, South Al-Khalidiyah, Al-Naseem, King Abdulaziz Port, Al-Nourus, Al-Seif, North Al-Raka, North Al-Khalidiya, Al-Safa, King Faisal University City, Al-Fanar, Half Moon Beach, West Al-Aziziyah).
In Al-Khobar Governorate, registration will end in the following neighborhoods: (Ibn Sina, South Al-Khobar, Al-Thuqba, Al-Bandariya, South Al-Raka, Green Belt, Al-Tahlia, Al-Jisr, The Corniche, Al-Aqrabiya, Al-Bustan, Golden Belt, Al-Jawhara, Al-Hada, Al-Khuzama, Al-Olia, Al-Hamra, Al-Taawon, Al-Sahel, Al-Rawabi, Qurtuba, Al-Yarmouk, Workers“ City, Al-Iskan, North Al-Khobar, Al-Thuqba Industrial Area, Al-Andalus, Ashbiliya, Al-Bahr, Al-Khor, Al-Fawaziyah Industrial Area).
In the Qatif Governorate, registration will close in the following neighborhoods: (Al-Zuhur, Al-Awjam, Al-Tallal, Al-Fayha, Al-Rawabi, Al-Nahda, Al-Rayhan, Al-Maha). Registration will also end in the following neighborhoods in Madinah: (part of Al-Qubaybah neighborhood, part of Abu Sudr neighborhood).
The Authority called on owners of properties located within the aforementioned neighborhoods to promptly register their properties through the Land Registry platform www.rer.sa before the registration deadline expires, in order to benefit from services related to real estate transactions and the documentation of all changes affecting the property.
It noted that the Real Estate Registry will issue a ”property number” and a title deed for each registered property unit, and the new title deed will include the property’s precise geographic location, owner information, property descriptions, condition, associated rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions pertaining to it, serving as the basis for documenting ownership and the associated real estate rights, thereby contributing to the sustainability and strengthening of the real estate sector and its key drivers.
The Authority emphasized that failure to register real estate within the period specified in the announcement exposes owners to the financial penalties set forth in the Real Estate Registration System, as determined by a committee specialized in reviewing violations, and that applications for real estate registration will continue to be accepted in all designated areas even after the registration period specified in the announcement has ended.
It should be noted that the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (the Real Estate Registry) is responsible for establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using modern technologies and geospatial data through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and confidence in real estate services and data.
