The Eastern Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development Exhibition (Restatex Eastern 2015) will host the Saudi Authority for Certified Valuers (Taqeem). Through its pavilion at the exhibition, the Authority seeks to introduce itself and its objectives that it is working to achieve, through a number of meetings and participation in workshops that will be held at the exhibition, in addition to brochures and brochures that will be distributed to visitors, The Authority will also provide a detailed explanation of the importance of accredited real estate valuation and its role in preserving the rights of workers in the sector and their investments, considering that (valuation) is one of the most important elements of preserving the savings and assets of public money, in addition to introducing what the Authority has achieved in the past period to consolidate its principles and objectives in the community.
The Authority's participation in the exhibition, which will be held from 26 to 29 October at the Dhahran International Exhibition and Convention Center under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, is an important step in order to show the services it provides to customers in the real estate sector. The Authority was established with the aim of upgrading the valuation profession in the Kingdom and developing it by scientific methods to preserve savings and assets, and the Certified Valuers Law was issued by Royal Decree No. (M/43) dated (1433/7/9 H).
The Authority's goals and objectives are set by the Royal Decree No. (M/43) dated (1433/7/9 H). <The Authority sets several goals and tasks, which it seeks to achieve on the ground, the most important of which are: Preparing, developing and adopting unified standards for all branches of evaluation, and standards for each branch, setting the general rules necessary for the fellowship exam for each branch of evaluation, organizing and supervising continuing professional education courses to develop the level of those belonging to the profession, participating in local and international seminars and committees related to the evaluation profession, in addition to developing appropriate procedures for field control to ensure that the certified evaluator applies the evaluation standards.
The Saudi Commission for Valuation believes that it is important for the evaluation profession in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be able to apply the evaluation standards. The Saudi Commission for Accredited Valuers believes that the valuation profession in the Kingdom is a promising profession that will contribute to the creation of many distinguished career opportunities. It also aims to raise the valuation profession to the level of prestigious professions, by setting the necessary standards for the valuation of real estate, economic facilities, equipment, movable property and the like, developing the valuation profession and raising the level of its workers professionally, technically and ethically, qualifying young cadres through specialized educational programs and accrediting qualified residents to practice the profession in all branches of valuation.
