Real estate transactions in Qatar fell to 1.29 billion riyals in February

Doha led the market with 478.47 million riyals in trading volume, 365 properties sold (-4%), and 145 mortgages worth 3.12 billion.

Amlak - Maha Al-Anqari: Real estate transactions in Qatar a 15.691% decline in February 2025, reaching 1.29 billion riyals, compared to 1.53 billion riyals in the previous January, according to the monthly bulletin issued by the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice.

The municipality of Doha the list of real estate transactions with a value of 478.47 million riyals, while the North Municipality ranked last with 31.10 million riyals. The number of properties sold during the month reached 365, a decrease of 41% from the previous month.

As for the top 10 properties sold, they were distributed as follows: 5 properties in Al Rayyan Municipality, 3 properties in Doha, and one property each in Al Thaya and Al Wakrah.

Regarding mortgage transactions, 145 transactions were recorded with a value of 3.12 billion riyals, with the Municipality of Doha topping the list with 48 transactions. Residential units also saw a decline in trading, with 106 transactions worth 210.27 million riyals, compared to 159 transactions in January worth 265.80 million riyals.
