Real estate registry ends in 4 neighborhoods in Medina Next Monday

The authority is calling on owners of 370 plots in four neighborhoods in the city to register before March 31, 2025 to avoid fines.

The General Real Estate Authority announced that the deadline for the initial real estate registration of(370) parcels of land in four neighborhoods in Madinah, which will end at the close of business on Monday, 2 Shawwal 1446 AH—according to the Umm al-Qura calendar—corresponding to March 31, 2025 CE.

The Authority has called on owners of properties located within the following neighborhoods: “Part of the Central District, part of the Bada’a neighborhood, part of the Al-Naqa neighborhood, and the Al-Manakha neighborhood” to promptly register their properties through the platform Real Estate Registry rer.sa before the registration deadline expires to benefit from services for executing real estate transactions and documenting all changes to the property.

The Authority clarified that the Real Estate Registry will issue a "property number" and a title deed for each real estate unit registered, The new title deed includes the property’s precise geographic location, owner information, property descriptions, condition, associated rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions affecting it, serving as the basis for documenting ownership and the associated real estate rights, thereby contributing to the sustainability and strengthening of the real estate sector and its key drivers.

The Authority emphasized that failure to register real estate within the period specified in the announcement exposes owners to the financial penalties set forth in the Real Estate Registration System, as determined by a committee authorized to review violations, and that applications for real estate registration will continue to be accepted in all designated areas even after the registration period specified in the announcement expires.

It is worth noting that the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services “The Real Estate Registry” is responsible for establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using modern technologies and geospatial data through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and trust in real estate services and data.
