Minister of Commerce: Commercial Registration and Trade Names Systems Ease Burdens on Businesses

The two new systems and their regulations come into effect and services return after being upgraded to align with the transformation of the Kingdom's Vision 2030

His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce, confirmed that the Commercial Registry andTrade Names will contribute to facilitating business operations and reducing the burden on commercial entities, in line with the unprecedented transformation outlined in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

His Excellency congratulated the business community on the entry into force of the Commercial Register and Trade Names Regulations, along with their implementing regulations.

It is worth noting that the Ministry announced last Thursday the entry into force of the Commercial Register and Trade Names laws and their implementing regulations, as well as the resumption of services provided to the business sector related to these laws following their development to align with the legislative aspects of the laws.
