Haqeel leads the Kingdom's delegation and concludes his visit to Kuwait

His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel concluded his official visit to Kuwait, during which he headed the Kingdom's delegation to the Gulf Ministerial Meeting, during which a number of important technical guidelines were adopted, most notably the “Value Engineering Guide in Housing Projects”, prepared by the Kingdom in a qualitative step aimed at enhancing spending efficiency and raising the quality of housing projects at the Gulf level.

He concluded his official visit to the State of Kuwait, during which he headed the Kingdom's delegation to the Gulf Ministerial Meeting.

Honoring supporters and exchanging Gulf experiences

The meetings witnessed the organization of an official ceremony in which a number of actors in supporting housing initiatives were honored in recognition of their contributions in helping the neediest families and providing developmental housing solutions.

Minister Al-Haqeel also held a bilateral meeting with Minister of State for Housing Affairs and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs in the State of Kuwait Abdullatif Al-Mashari, during which they discussed means of joint cooperation in the fields of housing and municipal policies, in addition to discussing mechanisms to exchange experiences and promote integration in developing housing legislation and programs between the two countries.

Signing two memorandums of understanding to enhance institutional cooperation

In a move aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation, two memorandums of understanding in the fields of housing and municipalities were signed between the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in the Kingdom and the Public Corporation for Housing Welfare and the Kuwait Municipality, contributing to strengthening institutional partnership, developing joint initiatives and programs, and raising the level of technical and knowledge exchange.

The ministerial meeting concluded with the approval of the final version of the unified rules for joint property owners in the GCC countries, in preparation for submission to the Supreme Council at its next session, as part of efforts to unify the regulatory frameworks for the real estate sector and enhance governance and legislative integration among member states.
