Ministry of Municipalities and Housing launches “Home Delivery Permit” service for establishments. Mandatory application begins in July 2025

It includes health and technical requirements, placing the facility's logo on the vehicles, and issuing the permit through the Baladi platform.

<The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has launched the “Home Delivery Permit” service for food and non-food establishments that provide delivery services, through the “Baladi” platform, in continuation of its efforts to enhance the quality of life and raise the level of safety and compliance in the delivery sector in the Kingdom.
This service aims to regulate delivery operations within cities and ensure that establishments adhere to health and technical requirements, which contributes to building a safe and effective environment that enhances consumer confidence.
The requirements include issuing a health certificate for workers in home delivery services, obtaining the approval of the body supervising the commercial activity, in addition to placing the name of the establishment or its trademark clearly on the means of transportation used, with a commitment to equip the vehicles in accordance with the technical and health requirements for the transportation of products.
The Ministry explained that the mandatory application of the license will start from July 1, 2025, and the secretariats will carry out field monitoring tours to ensure compliance of establishments, and apply legal procedures against violators, and owners of establishments can issue a home delivery service permit through the “Baladi” platform by visiting the link: https://balady.go.link/5c49F.
. This step comes as part of the Ministry's efforts to develop the regulatory structure of the services sector and ensure the provision of reliable and safe delivery services, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
