Jeddah Municipality, represented by the Building Licenses Department, issued about 10,244 building licenses during the past year 1436 AH, an increase of more than 17% from 1435 AH.

A report showed that the number of licenses issued by Jeddah Municipality during the period from the first of Muharram to the end of Hajjah in 1436 AH. A report issued by the Building Licenses Department showed that the number of licenses issued by Jeddah Municipality during the period from the first of Muharram to the end of Dhu al-Hijjah 1436 AH, where 8558 residential licenses were issued and 1686 commercial and service licenses were issued.

These licenses contributed to the provision of 149,474 units, including 118,381 residential units and 31,093 commercial and service units.
