Saudi Arabia has the largest fleet of business jets in the Middle East with 188 aircraft, accounting for 24% of the region's total medium and large aircraft, while the UAE is second only to the Kingdom in terms of business jet ownership with 135 aircraft.
Private aviation services company Gama Aviation stated that about 70% of business jets in the Middle East are medium to large size or jet models, compared to 31% of the global fleet, and the report estimated the business jet market in the Middle East region at 792 aircraft.
Compared to the rest of the world, the Middle East market is characterized by a high concentration of medium and large business jets, with approximately 59% of the region's fleet classified as medium to heavy, while business jets account for approximately 11%.
In the same context, Global Jet Capital, which specializes in aircraft financing, said that there are about 62 long-range business jets in the Middle East, valued at about $ 646.9 million, including 19 registered in the Kingdom, 18 in the UAE and the rest distributed across the region.
