The Public Authority for Real Estate with the participation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development during the month of June carried out 8 joint control tours that included visiting 108 real estate establishments in each of the Riyadh region, the Eastern Province, the Mecca region and the Asir region, with the aim of ensuring compliance with real estate legislation in general and the real estate brokerage system in particular, in addition to the competence of the participating government agencies.

The General Authority for Real Estate (GAR) has implemented 8 joint control tours during the month of June. <The Authority explained that field work is one of the tracks it is working on to regulate the real estate market, and its supervisory teams carried out during the same period 6,532 supervisory audits on billboards and real estate offices, which resulted in the detection of a number of violations represented in the practice of real estate brokerage activity or real estate services without obtaining a valid license, and not exercising the necessary care to verify the validity of the information obtained from the owner of the property or the owner of the benefit, and not indicating the licensee name or license number in real estate-related advertisements, the Authority received 778 real estate reports through its various channels that were dealt with The General Authority for Real Estate called on all brokers and real estate service providers to comply with the rules and provisions of the real estate brokerage system, and to see the violations to avoid penalties that include warning, suspension or revocation of the license, or financial fines of up to 200 thousand riyals.

It also called on citizens and residents to submit their reports in case of suspicion of real estate violations or real estate fraud through the response path for reports through the Authority's official platform or call (199011) for real estate inquiries.
