<The Ministry of Commerce Ministry of Commerce has invited commercial establishments that have been registered in the Commercial Register for one year to confirm the commercial register data electronically (within a maximum period of 90 days), to avoid the suspension of the commercial register.
This is based on the Commercial Registration Law and its Executive Regulations, which obliges the trader to submit annually to the Registrar a confirmation of the data registered in the commercial register, and the due date for the annual confirmation is one year from the date of registration in the commercial register, provided that the Registrar shall suspend the registration of the trader in the commercial register and related services if he does not submit the annual confirmation within (90) days from the due date.
The Ministry indicated that the steps of the annual confirmation of the commercial register data are done electronically through the “Business Platform”: (http://BUSINESS.SA).
