The campaign came after an increase in violations, which affected even villas and upper annexes within neighborhoods, turning them into multiple rental units without regular licenses or application of requirements, which caused a clear urban imbalance and a burden on infrastructure and public services.
The campaign included 134 building permits. <The campaign included 134 rounds within the scope of 15 sub-municipalities, during which the field teams issued violation notices in all visited locations. The Municipality emphasized that the campaign will continue within a comprehensive plan that includes monitoring, treatment and the application of penalties and fines against violators, stressing that its goal is not only to enforce the law, but to ensure a better quality of life for the residents of the capital, Riyadh.
