Since the General Authority for Real Estate started regulating the real estate brokerage business and issuing the executive regulations of the real estate brokerage system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and starting to educate the real estate community about the controls and procedures necessary to start the activities and licenses required to acquire the eligibility to work for many works such as property management, development and real estate marketing and here we talk specifically about real estate marketing brokerage business.

We clearly saw some achievements as final outputs as a result of these great efforts, which are manifested in the emergence of specialized real estate brokerage and marketing institutions and companies with organized work and institutional identity, which contributed to the appearance of the product in a positive and upscale manner, and also contributed to the interest of young people to join these businesses and change the previous perception of brokerage work and give these companies and institutions the characteristic of job security for them.

There are also clear challenges to start the work of activities and licenses required to be available to acquire the eligibility to work for many works such as property management, development and real estate marketing.

There are also clear challenges for everyone through the excesses of many individuals and real estate owners on regulations and controls and minimizing their importance due to many reasons that we must study and address them.

Most of these challenges are due to the fact that the majority of these challenges are due to the lack of awareness of the product. The majority of these violations are either for personal interests to obtain the highest possible benefit without any regulatory considerations, and this is at the expense of the product and the outputs of the entire real estate market and avoiding what requires documentation of rights and evading the required obligations.

The management of real estate by unlicensed individuals in an indiscriminate manner, which maximizes the private benefit without regard to the market value of the property, and this is a strong influence on the quality of the product and the difficulty of monitoring.

We point out here that in order to ensure that the real estate market is guaranteed, it is necessary to ensure the quality of the product. We note here that to ensure the success of this wonderful project, everyone, whether individuals or companies and experts, must work together."

On this occasion, I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the importance of this project. On this occasion, I would like to share with you some suggestions from my modest experience in this field:

<First: Establish a unified national platform supervised by the General Authority for Real Estate (Real Estate Disposal Platform), where no real estate transaction, whether sale, rental, mortgage and other real estate transactions, is done only through this platform so that it can fully control the process.

  • Creating specific classifications for each region and governorate to encourage competition.
  • Supporting these establishments by assisting with development and awarding projects.

In conclusion, between yesterday and today, we see positive changes and great successes that we hope to continue and support.
