The Public Authority for Real Estate announced that it recorded a growth of 185% in the number of certificates of owners" associations renewed through the electronic portal during the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, as the number of renewed certificates exceeded 635, as part of the Authority's efforts to enable a sustainable regulatory environment that preserves the rights of owners and occupants of common real estate units.
The General Authority for Real Estate announced that the "Malak“ indicators for the first half of 2025 recorded 3600 new owners” associations with 9,000 listed real estate units, bringing the total number of approved associations to 17,000. The “Authority” indicated that “Malak” indicators for the first half of the current year 2025 recorded 3,600 new owners“ associations with more than 9,000 listed real estate units, bringing the total number of approved associations to 17,000, with more than 16,000 members joining to exceed the total number of registered members in the portal 160,000 members, in addition to registering 4,000 association heads and more than 1,000 property managers, which reflects the wide participation in the management of associations and an increasing interest in organizing the relationship between owners and achieving efficiency in managing residential communities.
The "Authority" pointed out that ”Malak“ indicators for the first half of this year 2025 recorded 3,600 new owners” associations with more than 9,000 listed real estate units. The "Authority" indicated that the total operations carried out through the "Owners Associations" portal exceeded 74,000 operations, including registering and transferring properties, voting on the appointment of association presidents and property managers, approving subscription minutes, opening bank accounts, issuing and renewing association certificates, issuing the unified number (700) for registering and approving entities, and other services that contribute to the development and regulation of the real estate sector.
