The first security and safety exhibition and forum in the field of elevators, escalators, warehouses and storage was launched last Sunday, December 6, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center and opened by Lieutenant General Suleiman bin Abdullah Al Amro, Director General of Civil Defense.

The Assistant Director General of Civil Defense for Safety Affairs, Major General Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Shughaithri, explained that the first exhibition of its kind comes within the framework of the General Directorate of Civil Defense's interest in following up all security and safety procedures and requirements in the field of elevators, escalators, warehouses, storage and all construction works in government projects and the private sector.

Major Al-Shughaithri praised the great support that the Civil Defense receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince, may God protect them, in order to develop and carry out its work according to the latest and best international standards, indicating that the exhibition is accompanied by workshops where seminars and lectures are held in which the most distinguished experts and specialists in the field of security and safety systems and modern technical developments in the field of elevators, escalators, storage and warehouses with the participation of local experts from Civil Defense and representatives of the largest companies specialized in this field.
