«Kuwait Finance House reveals the reasons for the decline in the volume of housing applications

The Kuwait Finance House (KFH) report emphasized the success of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare in implementing a large part of its plans to complete thousands of housing units and plots in many areas, in addition to other necessary projects such as public buildings, infrastructure, and others in the state's continuous efforts to alleviate the housing crisis, as the state aims to complete more than 36 thousand housing units until 2017.

The KFH report indicated that the number of housing applications decreased to 107 thousand applications until last September, while the number of applications submitted since the beginning of the year amounted to 6400 applications.

KFH explained that the state aims to complete more than 36 thousand housing units until 2017, within projects implemented by the Public Corporation for Housing Welfare, according to strict technical conditions set by the Corporation to implement the projects of new residential cities, indicating that this number of housing projects meets some of the demand side, which represents part of it, the volume of housing applications accumulated since 1985, which decreased to 107 thousand applications until the last report in September 2015 published on the website of the Corporation, while the number of applications submitted reached about 6400 applications.
