The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing continues to monitor violations of the division of housing intended for investment in irregular ways, through field tours by regional secretariats in various cities of the Kingdom to areas where reports or reports of violations are received.

  • Dividing residential units into smaller spaces.
  • Add interior doors.
  • Modifying exits through setbacks without obtaining the necessary licenses.

In this context, the ministry directed citizens to report any violations through the “Baladi” application or call the unified number 940, stressing the need for owners, investors, advertisers and tenants to comply with the municipal requirements, lest they fall into a fine of up to 200,000 riyals according to the approved municipal regulations and instructions.
