Tomorrow. Real estate registry work begins for 111 neighborhoods in Riyadh and Eastern Provinces

It includes 58,572 pieces of real estate, from October 12 to January 15, 2026 via the Land Registry platform and service centers.

Public Authority for Real Estate announced the start of in-kind real estate registration for (30,198) real estate pieces in (65) neighborhoods in the Riyadh region, and registration for (28,374) real estate pieces in (46) neighborhoods in the Eastern region, starting from October 12 until the end of January 15, 2026.

Neighborhoods benefiting from the real estate registry

The Authority clarified that the neighborhoods benefiting from Real Estate Registry at this stage in the Riyadh region in Majmaa Governorate (Al Montazah neighborhood, Al Yarmouk neighborhood, King Abdullah neighborhood, Airport neighborhood, Housing neighborhood, First Industrial neighborhood), while the registration includes the following neighborhoods in Al Aflaj Governorate (Al Wahid neighborhood, Al Ezdhar neighborhood, Prince Salman neighborhood, Al-Andalus Neighborhood, Al-Barqa Neighborhood, Al-Bakr Neighborhood, Municipality Neighborhood, Circles Neighborhood, Industrial Neighborhood, Al-Taraf Neighborhood, Al-Fahil Neighborhood, Al-Faihaa Neighborhood, Al-Muthanna Neighborhood, Al-Qaysiyah Neighborhood, Al-Marzoukiyah Neighborhood, Al-Masiririr Neighborhood, Al-Museif Neighborhood, King Abdullah Neighborhood, Al-Hilali Neighborhood, Al-Wadaein Neighborhood, Warud Neighborhood, Umm Sarayha Neighborhood, Khadra and Ashiran Neighborhood) Registration also includes the following neighborhoods in Al-Quwaiyah Governorate (Scheme No. 1029) and Al-Ghatt Governorate (Al-Arniyah, Al-Ghadir, Al-Murouj, Al-Nakheel, Al-Warud, Al-Khuzama).

<The Real Estate Authority pointed out that the selection of the neighborhoods was made according to specific criteria, and the rest of the regions, governorates and neighborhoods that will be subject to real estate registration in various regions of the Kingdom will be announced in the coming periods, indicating that the first registration of real estate in these regions and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa/ or through service centers, where in-kind registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the statutory requirements to complete the registration process.

The Authority called on property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to in-kind registration to verify the title deed of the property and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, adding that failure to register properties within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes their owners to the financial penalties contained in the Real Estate Registration System, which is determined by a specialized committee to consider violations, and inquiries about registration steps can be made through the official platforms of the Authority or by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.

Starting from the date set for the start of registration, a "property number" and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered, and the title deed will include property data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations associated with accurate geospatial information to contribute to the enhancement of infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector, as the real estate registration system aims to increase real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
