Real Estate Registry begins registering neighborhoods in three provinces today

Applications for the first round of real estate registration are now being accepted in specific neighborhoods within the provinces of the Riyadh, Al-Qassim, and Eastern regions.

Land Registry today announced that it has begun accepting applications for the initial registration of real property in the provinces of Riyadh, Al-Qassim, and the Eastern Province.

Neighborhoods covered by the Real Estate Registry

Registration covers the following neighborhoods in Al-Quway’iyah Governorate in the Riyadh Region: Plot No. 1077, Plot No. 1051, Plot No. 359, Al-Qurayyah Livestock Market, Al-Sina’iya, Al-Fayda, Al-Zuhur, Plot No. 1039, Plot No. 985, Al-Awash, Umm Sariha, Al-Hazm, Plan No. 517, Al-Dira, Plan No. 1045, Al-Jazira, Al-Rabwa, Al-Salam, Plan No. 638, Al-Khalidiya, Jafara Al-Saadan, and Plan No. 1029.

Registration includes real estate areas in the Al-Khubara and Al-Sahabin centers, as well as Al-Salam neighborhood and adjacent real estate areas in Al-Bukayriyah Governorate. In Al-Batin Center, registration includes part of northeastern Buraydah, Al-Yasmin, Al-Nahda, and neighboring real estate areas, as well as real estate areas adjacent to King Fahd Road in Riyadh Al-Khabara Governorate and the Al-Jama’een neighborhood in Al-Ras Governorate

Registration also begins in the following neighborhoods in Baqiq Governorate: Northern Damig, an additional planned area for the town of Old Ain Dar, and the Al-Jawiya settlement plan. Registration in Al-Nairiyah Governorate includes the following neighborhoods: Al-Rawabi, Al-Khaleej, Al-Rabee’, and Al-Rawda. Registration will take place at the Al-Qaisumah Center in the following neighborhoods: Al-Muhammadiyah, Al-Naseem, Al-Shifa’, Al-Andalus, Al-Faisaliyah, and Al-Aziziyah, as well as the following neighborhoods in Al-Khafji Governorate: Prince Nayef, Al-Salam, Al-Sina’iya, Al-Hamra, Al-Yasmin, an urban real estate area, Al-Faisaliya, Al-Wurood, and the government land planning area located northwest of Plan No. 8/62 “Tashlih,” in addition to an urban real estate area adjacent to Abu Hadriya Road in Al-Jubail Governorate, while registration covers the following neighborhoods in Al-Qatif Governorate: part of Al-Shura neighborhood, an urban area, and urban areas in Ras Tanura Governorate and Dammam Governorate.
Owners of properties located within these neighborhoods must register their properties by the end of January 15, 2026. The location of a property can be verified to see if it falls within the announced areas through the Real Estate Registry platform.
The Real Estate Registry has urged property owners to register their properties through the Real Estate Registry platform (rer.sa) or the Real Estate Registry app, and to contact the Customer Service Center at 199002 for inquiries regarding registration procedures and steps. Property owners must register their properties within the specified period to benefit from the Real Estate Registry’s services, conduct real estate transactions with ease, and avoid the penalties and fines stipulated by the Real Estate Registration System.
The Real Estate Registry confirmed that it is continuing its work to register properties in areas covered by the registry as part of its efforts to increase reliability and transparency in the sector by establishing a comprehensive real estate registry for property information in the Kingdom, which will serve as a unified reference for all real estate data.
The Real Estate Registry will issue a “Property Number” and a title deed for each real estate unit registered, The new title deed will include the property’s precise geographic location, owner information, descriptions, condition, associated rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions involving the property, serving as the basis for documenting ownership and the associated real estate rights, thereby contributing to the sustainability and strengthening of the real estate sector and its key drivers.
Real estate zones are defined according to several criteria and based on the role of the General Authority for Real Estate, as the competent authority for real estate registration in accordance with the Cabinet’s decision and the provisions of the Real Estate Registration Law, while the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (the Real Estate Registry) is responsible for establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using geospatial data and modern technologies through an integrated digital platform that enhances transparency and trust in real estate services and data.
