The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) announced the release of the Construction Cost Index in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of its continuous efforts to develop
statistical products for vital sectors, providing a reliable and effective reference and accurate estimates based on a comprehensive analysis of basic material costs, labor costs, equipment and machinery rental costs, and energy costs for the sector.

In the same context, the results of the Construction Cost Index for September 2025 showed a year-on-year increase of 0.7% compared to last year, affected by the increase in construction costs for the residential sector by 0.8%, and for the non-residential sector by 0.6%.
