In its recommendations to the Shura Council, the Hajj, Housing and Services Committee called on the Ministry of Housing to present its programs and policies to provide housing products for citizens, and called for the separation of waiting lists on the housing portal to accelerate the lending process for those wishing to purchase housing units from the private sector and support the item allocated for this from the approved amounts.

The committee's report also recommended raising population densities in major cities and the availability of suitable land for housing projects. <The committee's report, which will be discussed by the Shura Council tomorrow, also recommended raising population densities in major cities that do not have suitable land for housing projects, and addressing the shortage of human cadres by filling vacant positions. The Shura Council had heard a report from the Minister of Housing Dr. Shuwaish bin Saud Al-Duwaihi on the plans and programs of his ministry and discussed the housing file by issuing 13 resolutions on the ministry's reports, and Al-Duwaihi answered the questions and inquiries of the members.
