The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may God protect him—chaired the Cabinet meeting held yesterday afternoon, Monday, at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, where a number of issues on the agenda were discussed.
After reviewing the recommendation of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs to impose fees on undeveloped land within the urban boundaries of cities, provinces, and towns, the Council of Ministers approved the Council of Economic and Development Affairs’ preparation of the necessary regulatory mechanisms and arrangements, and agreed that the Council should submit its findings to the Council of Ministers in preparation for referral to the Shura Council to complete the regulatory procedures in this regard as a matter of urgency.
