Real estate developers welcome Aramco's 6-month moratorium

A number of investors in the real estate market in the Eastern Province welcomed the recent decision of the Council of Ministers to give Aramco six months to resolve Aramco's reservations in the Eastern Province.

According to the decision, the Real Estate Contributions Committee must prepare a list identifying the lands of real estate contributions that fall within the concession or reservations of Saudi Aramco - not covered by Supreme Order No. 41182, dated 9/9/1433 AH, and deliver it to the company, and Saudi Aramco must study the possibility of releasing the lands of the contributions referred to, or express its views in this regard within six months from the date of receiving the list.

Many investors in the real estate market in the Eastern Province welcomed the recent Cabinet decision on the mechanism of the Real Estate Contributions Committee's work.
