The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has granted approvals to eligible recipients for subsidized construction materials, in accordance with the new subsidy law, totaling approximately 34.65 million dinars.

A source at the ministry said that central air conditioning continues to rank first in terms of value among all construction materials recently added to the list of subsidized building materials.

The source explained that the value of approvals granted to eligible citizens for central air conditioning systems amounted to approximately 25 million dinars, adding that central air conditioning materials also ranked first in terms of the number of eligible citizens who received approvals, with the number reaching approximately 5,093.

The source added that ceramic and porcelain materials followed air conditioning systems in terms of the value of approvals granted by the Ministry of Commerce to eligible recipients, with the value of delivery requests reaching approximately 4.17 million dinars, noting that the number of eligible recipients who received delivery approvals for ceramic and porcelain materials was 2,089 citizens.

He added that the number of eligible recipients for bathroom fixtures who received official approvals from the Ministry totaled 2,109 citizens, with a total value of materials amounting to 2.1 million dinars.

He said that there are 2,081 eligible recipients for electrical wiring, which has also been added to the list of recently subsidized construction materials, noting that the value of approved delivery requests for eligible recipients amounted to 3.32 million dinars.
