Housing plans to hand over housing units to beneficiaries within seven months

The Ministry of Housing revealed its intention to deliver housing units to eligible citizens after seven months, starting from their application through the electronic portal ”Iskan”, for applicants who meet the conditions of the housing support program represented by the conditions of eligibility and priority criteria, and according to the readiness and availability of sufficient housing units for the specified period.
The Ministry indicated that it will deliver the housing units to the beneficiaries in batches, where the first eligible batch will receive the housing unit for the mentioned period, with the possibility of delivering it to the following batches according to their availability.
The Ministry denied what was recently circulated “about what was said that all citizens will receive housing units,” noting that those who will be delivered are eligible applicants who meet the eligibility conditions and priority criteria only, not all applicants as mentioned, in addition to the availability of ready-made housing units.
She explained that she will verify the information entered, along with the screening process for the beneficiaries of housing support after sixty days of citizens“ submission through the ”Housing“ portal, stressing that the data processing will become continuous after that for all those who can fulfill the conditions and apply through the portal.
The Ministry of Housing pointed out that the application through the housing support portal will be available throughout the year to give citizens enough time to continue to apply, given that the applicant witnesses when filling out his information and data through the portal is constantly changing, indicating that it has housing units ready to be delivered to the first batch of beneficiaries in addition to working on the implementation of the rest of the housing units.
