Minister of Housing Dr. Shuwaish Al-Duwaihi revealed that the system of rent-to-own housing will be launched within a month to a month and a half. He added that the mechanisms and method of eligibility for the additional loan have been finalized and will be announced soon, pointing out that the stages of mortgage regulation have been completed and will be implemented soon. He said, according to the newspaper “Al-Madina”, that there are no confirmed statistics on the size of the current projects that the ministry is working on, pointing out that there are more than 300 thousand housing units built with the participation of many parties concerned with real estate affairs.
