Taysir Al-Mufaraj, a spokesperson for Public Authority for Real Estateabout the procedures and mechanisms the organization uses to monitor and detect Real estate developer violationsHe pointed to five main tracks followed by the authority to ensure real estate market regulation and consumer protection.
During a televised intervention on Rotana Khaleeji's “Ya Hala” program, Al-Mufaraj explained that the paths begin with the field monitoring tours that the authority carries out periodically, in addition to joint inspection tours carried out in coordination with the relevant government agencies to ensure the effectiveness of monitoring.
He added that the third track relies on receiving reports from the public and beneficiaries, which is an important source for the early detection of any violations or abuses. He also emphasized the importance of the electronic survey that the authority carries out through an advanced operations room, through which it monitors complaints or potential violations posted on social media sites.
Finally, he referred to the “mystery shopper” track, where a specialized team communicates with developers in a confidential manner and a specific methodology, to monitor the extent of their compliance with laws and regulations, which contributes significantly to detecting violations that may not appear in official tours.
