The Ministry of Housing revealed that the effective date of the white land fee system will be (3 Ramadan according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar), provided that the receipts of land fees - after giving a grace period to the designated sites in case they are not developed - will be spent The organizational regulation of the system, for which a number of workshops were held, will determine the party that determines the fee, which will be determined later, and the value of the fee is linked to the value of the land, which the system determines the criterion for determining its value by its location, uses, building systems, the availability of public services and access to public utilities.

This came during the workshop launched by the Minister of Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, recently in Riyadh, on the stakeholder consultation on the executive regulations of the White Land Fees System, with the participation of a number of ministry officials, interested and specialized in this field.Al-Hogail stressed the importance of activating the partnership between the Ministry of Housing and stakeholders in the various programs that are being launched, pointing out that the Ministry has launched an electronic portal that allows citizens to submit their suggestions and comments on the system, whose final regulation is being prepared in preparation for its launch, indicating that the participation of public opinion and relevant authorities will produce an integrated regulation. This workshop comes as an extension of the workshops organized by the Ministry of Housing in Jeddah and Khobar over the past two weeks in cooperation with specialists in this field.
