The Riyadh Chamber, represented by the Real Estate Committee, will organize an expanded meeting that brings together the Real Estate Development Fund with the private sector to discuss the effects of the Fund's transformation into a financial institution on the real estate sector, and the discussion will address the strategic and future directions of the Fund in terms of regulating the real estate finance and housing sector, on Sunday morning 19/05/1437 AH corresponding to 28/02/2016 AD at the Chamber's headquarters.
Hamad Al-Shuwayer, Board Member and Chairman of the Real Estate Committee at the Chamber, praised the initiative of the meeting in which HE Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Zughaibi, Director General of the Fund, will speak, noting the efforts of the Committee in providing the opportunity for sector members to learn about the Fund's programs and its future plans after the decision to transform it into a financial institution capable of providing innovative financial tools in providing effective solutions for real estate financing, and present the opinions and views of real estate investors on ways and means of expanding this partnership through the innovation of solutions and programs necessary for home ownership.
The meeting will be held at the Chamber's headquarters. The decision to transform the Fund into a financial institution will have a positive impact on the localization of housing projects that suit the needs of all citizens and create housing environments suitable for the Saudi family by increasing financing and facilitating its mechanisms and legalization, stressing the support of investors in the sector for the efforts made by officials in the Fund to provide innovative programs in the field of real estate financing, and called on investors in the sector and real estate development companies in the Kingdom and interested and specialists to participate in the meeting and express their suggestions, opinions and views on the topics raised in it.
