It outlined the conditions for benefiting from the initiative, which ends on December 31, 2025.
ZATKA clarified that the initiative includes exempting taxpayers from penalties for late registration in all tax systems, late payment, and late filing of returns under all tax systems, in addition to fines for correcting Value-Added Tax (VAT) returns, fines for field audit violations related to the implementation of electronic invoicing provisions, and other general VAT provisions.
The conditions for benefiting from the ”Waiver of Fines and Exemption from Financial Penalties“ initiative are as follows:
- The taxpayer must be registered in the tax system.
- All required tax returns must be filed with the Authority.
- The full principal amount of the tax debt related to the due tax returns must be paid, with the option to apply to the Authority for an installment plan.
To benefit from the installment plan offered by “ZATKA,” the application must be submitted while the initiative is in effect, and all installments must be paid by their due dates in accordance with the installment plan approved by the Authority.
It should be noted that, as announced by “Zatka,” the initiative does not cover fines related to tax evasion violations or fines that were paid prior to the effective date of this initiative.
