Saleh Al-Zayed, supervisor of the State Property Control Committee in Qassim region, revealed the penalty for encroaching on government lands, explaining that the penalty imposed on the encroaching person differs if it is for the first time or for the second time.
The supervisor of State Real Estate Monitoring Committee in Qassim region explained, during televised statements on Al-Ekhbariya channel, that the penalty for the first-time encroachment is estimated at 10 thousand riyals, and the penalty if the encroachment is repeated for the second time reaches 50 thousand riyals, noting that the value of the penalty for encroachment on state lands is the number of times, not the area of encroachment.

According to the law, seizing or disposing of any state real estate without a legal basis, preventing others from entering it, or changing its features, has several forms, including: Planning it, cultivating it, building on it, fencing it, putting barriers on it, filling it, backfilling it, agreeing with it, taking raw materials from it, or exploiting it - permanently or temporarily - for purposes contrary to the relevant regulations, orders, decisions and instructions.
According to the law, seizing or disposing of any state property without a legal title, preventing others from entering it, or changing its features has several forms.
