Eastern Province Municipality has announced the start of applying the design guidelines for East Coast and Qatif architecture in its three styles (traditional, transitional and contemporary) to all new urban projects, in a move that reflects the vision of a nation that is steadily moving towards a more distinctive urban landscape, connected to its heritage and proud of the authentic architecture in Saudi cities.

This comes in implementation of the Saudi Architecture initiative launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Salman Al-Aziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
