With the aim of regulating the urban development environment and improving compliance, the Holy Capital Municipality has begun implementing spatial and operational corrective measures against facilities that do not comply with construction and operating permit requirements, monitoring facilities" compliance with municipal regulations, and updating their permits in accordance with approved requirements and standards.

The Municipality of the Holy Capital is intensifying field inspections and technical oversight to ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code and municipal regulations in the region, to ensure a regulated work environment and achieve the highest levels of compliance and quality across more than 3,200 facilities, including workshops and warehouses.

In support of efforts aimed at creating a safe investment environment and sustainable urban development befitting the status of the Holy Capital, the Municipality has called on all employers and investors in commercial activities to comply with approved municipal regulations and regulatory requirements.
