A new tourism achievement for one of the Kingdom's cities, according to the Saudi Ministry of Tourism.
The tourism superiority recorded by Asir city came due to the picturesque mountainous nature, the mild climate in most seasons of the year, in addition to the expansion of accommodation projects and recreational and cultural activities, as Asir city ranks among the top five Saudi tourist destinations during the first half of this year.

The total statistics for the first half of 2025 recorded about 46.6 million tourists within the Kingdom, the average length of stay for Saudi tourists was 6.6 nights, compared to 7.2 nights for non-Saudis, and according to official data, entertainment was the most prominent motivation for Saudi trips by 43%, then visiting friends and relatives by 29%, business and conferences by 22%, and shopping by 13%.
