Private-sector companies have provided the Ministry of Housing with more than 56,000 housing units

As part of its partnership with the private sector, the Ministry of Housing today signed cooperation agreements with 11 national real estate development companies, to build more than 56,000 housing units for those eligible for housing support on private land, including the regions of Riyadh, Makkah, the Eastern Province, Ha’il, and Tabuk.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Housing, the Makkah region had the highest number of housing units, totaling 42,183, including 41,998 units in the Jeddah Governorate, and 189 units in Taif Province, which are being developed by five real estate companies. Meanwhile, the Riyadh region received 8,518 housing units, which are being developed by two real estate development companies, As for the Hail region, it received 1,394 residential units being developed by two real estate companies, while the number of residential units to be provided in the Tabuk region reached 2,304, and the number of housing units in Al-Khobar Governorate in the Eastern Province reached 1,700.

She explained that the residential units include various public services and essential facilities associated with residential neighborhoods, noting that they target a wide range of residential areas in the Kingdom, including more than six major cities across five regions, all integrated into a unified residential environment where a full range of services is available.
