White land owners invited to invest in urban planning forum

Abdulrahman Al Sheikh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs for Urban Planning, the ministry’s efforts to encourage owners of such undeveloped land within urban areas to utilize and invest in it, noting that the Ministry of Housing is a key partner of the ministry in municipal work.

Al-Sheikh explained during a press conference held yesterday by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs to discuss the First Urban Planning Forum, held under the theme “Modern Trends in Urban Planning Toward Prosperous Cities,” which will be held at the end of this March, there will be a special section dedicated to supporting investment in undeveloped land and exploring modern and smart solutions for urban planning, This section will showcase smart solutions for urban planning, including computer programs and smartphone apps for planning, analysis, and monitoring, as well as consulting firms presenting their non-traditional approaches to urban planning and their national and international experiences in providing innovative solutionsfor sustainable city planning.
