Press reports revealed that 14,858 real estate cases were filed in the Kingdom’s courts during the first five months of the current year, 1437 AH, with 6,111 cases involving property rent accounting for 41.1% of the total, while property ownership cases accounted for 15.6%, totaling 2,323 cases, evictions of occupants present accounted for 32.91% (4,889 cases), and evictions of absent occupants accounted for 3.91% (579 cases), while cases involving overlapping property rights accounted for 1.5%. Inheritance cases totaled 1.0% (134 cases), and property damage cases numbered 597, representing 4%.
